Terms and Conditions of Hire

1. The property hired is strictly on the basis that the accommodation is for holiday use only and that no rights to remain in the accommodation exsist for the hirer or any person allowed into the property by him. The hirer will be liable for any cost incurred as a result of any delay in departure.
2. No contract shall exsist until a signed booking form and a 25% deposit has been received. Cheques payable to Mrs D Kimber should be sent to Speccott Barton,Merton, Nr. Okehampton,Devon. EX20 3DN
3. The full balance of the total amount payable not later than 14 days prior to arrival.
4. In the event of cancellation the hirer must advise us immediately, whereupon we will, without prejudice to our rights to the balance in full, use our best endeavours to re-let. If re-letting is possible the deposit. less administration costs, will be returned to you. To avoid cancellation loses we advise hirers to take out holiday cancellation insurance.
5. The number of persons occupying the accommodation is limited to the number of beds provided.
6. The hirer is expected to leave the accommodation as found on arrival and either replace or pay for any loss or breakages with items of equal value or pay the cost of replacement. The hirer is also liable for the cost of any damage to the property.
7. The use of Swimming Pool, Games Room, Tennis Court or any facilitiy provided by Speccott Barton is at the risk of the user. Children under the age of 16 must be accommpanied by an adult in the Swimming Pool at all times.
